A military parade is being led by a pair of soldiers ridding white horses are marching down the main street of the village.
These hand carved frames are made from hard oak trees grown in Haiti. They are made by frame
makers, not the artist. Some frames take weeks to make, while others are carved while the painter is
painting and are finished when the painting is done. This is done because the corners must fit. None of the paintings are the exact size. These frames are valued at $200 or more.
